From August 20 to 22, 2026, the 8th Middle East Lighting Expo 2026 will open its doors at the Cairo International Convention Centre.

Today (August 18), the ETON team has successfully landed in Egypt. Both exhibition machines – the HT-E8S-1200 and T9-2S – have cleared customs and are now undergoing final installation and commissioning at our booth. A journey of 8,000 kilometers from Shenzhen to Cairo – all for one purpose: to deliver a live, authentic placement technology demonstration at Hall L 210.

This year's expo is sponsored by H.E. Khaled Hashim, Egypt's Minister of Industry, and brings together brands and exhibitors from 10 countries, with a target of approximately 15,000 professional visitors. Notably, the expo has been co-located with the Smart Home Technology Expo, expanding the exhibit scope to include smart lighting, IoT modules, building automation, and other emerging sectors. This means the show floor will be packed with smart hardware and electronic module manufacturers who have direct needs for SMT placement solutions.

The T9-2S features ETON's patented batch pick & batch place technology, achieving ultra-high efficiency with two pick-ups and one placement cycle. It also includes missing-component auto-detection and auto-repair functions, paving the way for Industry 4.0 unmanned workshops.

The ETON technical team arrived in Cairo today (August 18) and will remain through September 3.
